Neighbor

When I speed walk I've observed it is customary to
cordially greet your fellow walkers even when you don't know them.

Very nice work! In Minneapolis, there are lots of biking and walking trails. Everyone there says, "on your right" as they are about to pass! Sometimes it's said politely like "excuse me", sometimes it's like, "get the heck out of my way!".

So true! I am more of a stroller than a speed walker but the same thing happens.

I like the charming informailty of this piece's style, and the freshness of the colors!

This makes me smile! I walk the path by the ocean every day and we all greet one another. Once in a while there will be tourists who keep tight lipped. Most often they're foreign and have their own customs. Still, a smile is universal, right? Love the illo Linda, and I like your new Avatar. That power-walking is working girl!

Really funny, but also a very strong composition - the triangular structure of your people bookending the squirrel, and their eyes all directed to the little guy (or girl) work really well, with the setting seeming a bit like a theatrical backdrop - just right! I really like that your black lines are nice and crisp and ungrey against the washes of colour - excellent work!
