Great drawing! It makes me think of Henri Matisse's drawings with curves and simplified lines.
Nice and cool color too!

I love the shades of green, very interesting use of color on the head and arms, melting into a rich tan, She looks so peaceful in her quiet sleep.
What a drag the verizon thing, hope that gets straightened out. Anyway, I think your piece for phobia is perfectly claustophobic.
Both pieces are unique as always, and 'Quiet' is one of my favorites of yours.

Linda, this scene looks so cozy and inviting! She looks like she's having a wonderful dream. The color scheme is quite beautiful and the softness of the effects add to the peaceful feeling.

This is the 118th BLOG I've posted this comment on today:

As a veteran of Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq...over these last few months...I've wondered to myself, "Is it possible to reduce the amount of hatred and violence in our world?"

Last week, before going to sleep, I began asking myself a lot of WHAT IF questions.

The central theme behind my thoughts were neither anti-war or pro-religion. My ideas are not meant to inspire flag-burning or protest signs.

Basically, unless someone and everyone start talking about Peace...

Even if it's just for two short minutes...

It's possible that an unstoppable firestorm of hatred may one day burn its way across our entire planet.

Instead of pointing out those differences which separate mankind...

It's my hope that the humanity within all of us will somehow prevail...

Even if it's JUST FOR TWO SHORT MINUTES...
