Sweet illo.... very light & airy & feminine. I like it!
great line work! I'll bet those tattoos tickle!
Great concept. Love the curvy lines.
I have to puzzle out whether the butterflies are attracted to the lovlies backsides and so become permanent tattoos, or the butterflies are attracted to the butterfly tattoos already there. I've not decided yet, one thing for sure, sharp illo and very mysterious, can't ask for more.
I love this! I'm also intrigued by what's going on here...tattoos turning into butterflies or the other way around... Anyway, the image is captivating, and the touch ofgolden color on the butterflies looks wonderful against the violet.
I love this. I could see this as a print on a wall. I know many who would purchase it. :)
fun lovely illo!! Nice character drawing, love the butterfly idea!
Wonderful illustration - I love the lines and the rhythm as well as the concept and colors. I just noticed you're in N.J. - me too!
Thank-you all for the feedback.
Hardwax,Carla: Good question.
In my eye the butterflies were attracted to the tats. also to make a short story long :),In my first illo the tats are rub-ons purchased on a whim at a fair stand. in the end I decided to eliminate the backround. Then I pondered the other senerio you mentioned and decided to leave it to the viewer. However when I posted I forgot to add the Question mark in the title ie: " TATTOO ? "
Thank-you
Your illustrations are excellent and quite varied in approach. Cool.
This is wonderful - I love the immediate, lively linework, colour choices and the concept - and it tells a story!
Beautiful!!!
